11 bit studios and Fool’s Theory have announced that they are delaying The Thaumaturge from December 5, 2023 to February 20, 2024. The game will release on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) before the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions.

“Mastering the mystic arts is ambitious work, and so is game development if you refuse to compromise on quality,” 11 bit studios wrote.

“With this in mind, 11 bit studios and Fool’s Theory have jointly decided to give The Thaumaturge additional time in development to reach the standards that players want.”

11 bit Studios notes, “As the finishing touches continued on the game over the past few weeks, the team saw opportunities to add more polish and quality, and since they were comfortable with giving us additional time, the decision to delay was made.”
